The first look of Awe was released on November 25, 2017. Nani met director Prasanth who narrated the storyline to him. As per reports Nani loved the script and decided to produce the film himself. An ensemble cast featuring, Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, Regina Cassandra, Eesha Rebba, Srinivas Avasarala, Murali Sharma, Priyadarshi Pullikonda, Rohini, Hari Teja, and Devadarshini was brought on board. Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja was brought in to play one of the two voice-over narrators, featuring as the voice of a bonsai. Nani is voicing a fish, who is the other narrator. All the first looks of the characters have been released and the teaser for the same has been released on the 4th of January 2018.
