Shahid Kapoor approached for yet another Hindi remake: Bollywood superstar Shahid Kapoor’s last film Kabir Singh and his upcoming most awaited film Jersey both are the Hindi remakes of South Indian films named Arjun Reddy and Jersey respectively. Shahid’s Kabir Singh was a huge hit, even after several debates and controversies. In the upcoming film Jersey, the actor will have him play the role of a cricketer. The on-set pictures have already made the audience excited to watch this one.
According to the latest reports, Shahid has been approached to do yet another remake of a South film. The film, Soorarai Pottru, is about the pioneer of low-cost aviation in India, GR Gopinath.

According to reports that the makers have sent the script to Shahid. Producer Guneet Monga is keen on releasing the film in Hindi. The report further claimed that the rest of the cast and crew will be finalized once the lead gets confirmed.
There is also news of Shahid Kapoor signing a huge deal with Netflix. A news article reads that the actor will now focus on his web series. He marks his debut in the OTT world with this series helmed by Raj and Krishna DK. The series will be a trilogy and will also star Vijay Sethupathi. It will be shot in Mumbai and Goa.
