3 Hours Enough For Akshay Kumar and R Balki to Shoot The Lockdown Project: The Health Ministry had approached Superstar Akshay Kumar and renowned Director R Balki for an ad/short film. Surprisingly the shoot for the same was over just in 3 hours. Here is everything you need to know about the new normal of Akshay Kumar.
The shoot was about to take place in kamalistan, Mumbai on 23rd of May but was further postponed to the 25th of May. As per the reports of Dainik Bhaskar, Anil Naidu who is a long time colleague of R Balki said that they were approached by the Ministry of Health department for a short ad/film. After which a script of 2 pages was prepared and permission for further action was asked.
Naidu disclosed that the team wrapped up the session in just 3 hours which is quite a surprise.
According to Naidu a short film that will depict people how to protect themselves post lockdown was shooted.
Everyone in the set took the full safety measure. Generally, a crew consists of 60 members but this shoot has only 20 odd members. Akshay drove the set by himself and was already in costume. He was accompanied by a single makeup with him. The Cinematographer had only 1 assistant for his support.
Interestingly, No team of AD’s approached R Balki’s team. As a safety measure, the lapels mics were also replaced by the boom mics. As per reports, the chances that the team will have to dub the film in a studio are very less.
The Shoot began at sharp 7 AM and was wrapped at 10 o’clock. It is a short film of approx
1 minute 30 seconds. The footage of the shoot is being edited now and will soon be given in the hand of the Ministry.
