Sony Pictures announced the official film Adaptation of Mukesh Khanna’s ‘Shaktimaan’. ‘Shaktimaan’ the first superhero of India was a popular superhero TV show which aired till 2005.
Sony Pictures India has announced that a film adaptation of the first Indian superhero show Shaktimaan is in the works. The teaser shows a meteor hurtling towards Earth, the teaser also gives a glimpse into Shaktimaan’s new and improved superhero outfit & the camera, id, and specs of Gangadhar.
The production house has shared the announcement teaser with the caption, “After the super success of our many superhero films in India and all over the globe, it’s time for our desi Superhero! Sony Pictures International Productions is all set to bring ‘Shaktimaan’ to the big screen, and will recreate the magic of the iconic superhero, to be headlined by one of India’s superstars.”
Now, with a Shaktimaan movie on the cards, we are sure the first thought that hits your mind would be who will play the lead in the film? and being a fan of our desi Superhero, you must be already surfing the internet about the same. Well, reportedly, it’ll be a famous actor who will turn Shaktimaan. Who will play Shaktimaan in the movie?
Shahid Kapoor
The first actor on our list is Shahid Kapoor. In his career so far, he has not played a superhero on screen, so he can definitely be approached by the makers. He has already played double roles in the film like Kaminey and we all know no one could have done better than him. The actor should look innocent and have a good comic sense for the role of Gangadhar which we feel Shahid will be the best choice.
Vidyut Jammwal
One of the biggest action stars of India Vidyut Jammwal can also be a good choice for Shaktmaan. Adding to it, he’s handsome, has a well-built body, and also is a great artist. A total package, right? We can also say that he will also be best for Tamraj Kilvis, remember “Andhera Kayam Rahe”
Ranveer Singh
Next on our list is Ranveer Singh. He has proved himself in almost every role he has played on screen. And about Shaktimaan, well, the lad has lots of shakti to play the role in his own unique way.

Tiger Shroff has already played the superhero, Flying Jatt. The reason we feel that Tiger is eligible to be a Shaktimaan is that he has got a great physique, is flexible, and also is a well-trained gymnast. Indeed, the dashing lad has got it all. But the film flying Jatt didn’t do well at the box office.
