Saif Ali Khan began shooting for Jawaani Jaaneman in London

Great news for all Saif fans. Actress Pooja Bedi’s daughter Alaia F and actor Saif Ali Khan have started shooting for Jawaani Jaaneman here. Pooja on Monday tweeted a photograph of Saif and Alaia from India’s match against Pakistan at the ICC World Cup 2019 here on Sunday.

She quoted a caption on the image: “My daughter Alaia with Saif Ali Khan at the World Cup match in London. Perfect start to their shoot together for her Debut film #jawaanijaaneman. He plays her dad.. and this was shot on Father’s Day. Best of luck for beautiful new beginnings.”

After a long wait, Saif Ali Khan has finally started shooting for his much-awaited upcoming film – Jawaani Jaaneman. Saif will be seen alongside Pooja Bedi’s daughter Alaia F. Alaia will make her Bollywood debut with the film. The film will be shot in London over a 45-day schedule.

According to a source close to the film also informs that Kareena Kapoor Khan may play his ex-lover in the film. Talking about the project, co-producer Jay Shewakramani said in a statement, “I have been meeting Saif every day. Even though he is on a family holiday, he has been taking out a couple of hours a day for the film. Alaia has been doing readings with Nitin and we are happy with her progress. She will start shooting a few days later but Nitin wanted her to be there well in advance to get used to a film set.” The film will be directed by Nitin Kakar.

He further informed that film’s preparation has already taken them all over town. Jay added, “In the film, Saif’s character lives in a specific kind of a house and we didn’t find anything suitable during the first recce. We got in touch with Vashu ji and on the last day, we chanced upon the ideal location after seeing around 50-55 houses.”

Film helmed by Nitin Kakkar,  Jawaani Jaaneman will show the relationship between a forty-year-old father and his daughter.
