Bollywood stars mourn the death of Former Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj. Former Foreign Minister and BJP veteran leader Sushma Swaraj died at the age of 67 in Delhi.
The Former Foreign Minister and BJP veteran leader Sushma Swaraj passed away last night at the age of 67 in Delhi. According to reports, she died of a massive cardiac arrest on Tuesday evening post which she was rushed to AIIMS around 9:30 PM keeping in mind her critical condition. She was taken to the emergency ward and immediately attended by a team of doctors but unfortunately, they could not revive her. She was unwell & did not even contest for the Lok Sabha elections which were held recently.
As soon as the news of her demise broke out, her followers across the globe mourned the huge loss. Social media was seen flooding with posts & tweets by politicians, Industrialists and celebs paying their tributes to the remarkable leader. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen in tears as he arrived at her residence to pay his last respects.
Bollywood actors including Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Anushka Sharma, Arjun Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, Riteish Deshmukh, and Ayushmann Khurrana mourned the demise of Sushma Swaraj.
Anushka Sharma wrote, “Saddened to hear about the sudden demise of Sushma Swaraj Ji. May her soul rest in peace.”
Riteish Deshmukh tweeted, ” A huge loss for India- An outstanding orator, an absolute patriot, a tall leader @SushmaSwaraj Ji is no more. As an Ext Affairs minister, she was always accessible to every Indian who was in need of help. My deepest condolences to the family loved ones & millions of followers”
Shabana Azmi said, “Deeply saddened that Sushma Swaraj has passed away. In spite of political differences, we had an extremely cordial relationship. I was one of her ‘navratans’ as she called us during her I and B ministership and she gave industry status to film. Articulate sharp and accessible. RIP”
