Nayantara Miss Mrs & Mr Kids 2023: In a one-of-a-kind event, the Nayantara Miss Mrs & Mr Kids 2023 fashion show took place recently in the capital city of Odisha, Bhubaneswar. The show was organized by SJ Production House, a renowned platform founded by Saswat Joshi, an Internationally famous Odissi & Folk dancer. The initiative, named Nayantara, which means “Beauty with a purpose,” was conceived during the challenging times of the pandemic.
This year marked the successful completion of the 3rd season of the unique fashion show. To adapt to the circumstances, Miss/Mrs India Nayantara decided to hold the event in an online format leading up to a grand finale week in person.
From 12th to 15th July 2023, Sj Productions hosted the event in a beautiful resort near Bhubaneswar, adding a touch of luxury to the celebration of fashion and artistry.
The fashion evening commenced with the presence of esteemed guest, Mr. Zha Liyou, the Chinese Consulate General in Kolkata, who graced the occasion. Priyadarshi Mishra, former MLA and youth leader, lit the lamp to symbolize the auspicious beginning of the event. The evening’s entertainment began with a captivating Odissi performance by Team Lasyakala, enchanting the audience with the elegance and grace of this traditional dance form.
At the heart of Nayantara Miss Mrs & Mr Kids 2023 lies a noble objective – to promote and support the weavers’ community of India, with a special focus on those from Odisha. The show aims to provide a platform for these talented artisans to showcase their exquisite weaving patterns and unique artistry. The organizers understand the significance of preserving this traditional art form, ensuring it continues to thrive and stand the test of time.
Shri Saswat Joshi, the founder of the SJ Production House, expressed his passion for empowering the weavers and preserving their heritage. He emphasized the importance of granting them the recognition and promotion they truly deserve, fostering an environment where their skills can shine and be appreciated on a global stage.
