Varun Dhawan As The New-Age-Govinda

Bollywood star is now promoting his upcoming film Kalank. The next-gen Bollywood star Varun Dhawan has proved himself as one among the most bankable actor in the industry at present. His success ratio has been at an all-time high with films like Sui Dhaaga, Judwaa2,  ABCD2, October and much more. After giving these hits, Varun is all set to do another remake and this time it’s Coolie No. 1.

The Badlapur star stepping into the shoes of his inspiration, Bollywood star Govinda. In an interacting session with a leading Bollywood portal, the actor was asked if the audiences will accept him as the new-age-Govinda since he’s stepping in his shoes.

To which the Kalank star replied, “Honestly, I think this same question was asked to me when I did Judwaa or Main Tera Hero. But the idea is not to be anyone but to be me and do it in my own way. The screenplay is amazing. The film is an adaptation and not so as a remake.”
