Hrithik Roshan to Begin Filming Krrish 4 in Summer 2025
Hrithik Roshan is all set to start shooting for the highly anticipated Krrish 4 in the summer of 2025, promising an exciting new chapter filled with thrilling action sequences. Currently, Hrithik is busy filming War 2 alongside Kiara Advani, but after wrapping up that project, he will shift focus to the next installment of the iconic Krrish franchise.
Reports indicate that the team aims to complete War 2 by April 2025, with director Ayan Mukerji focusing on high-octane action sequences during the final schedule, aiming to outdo the stunning stunts from the first film.
Once War 2 is wrapped up, Hrithik will collaborate with director Karan Malhotra for Krrish 4. The film, which has been in development for years, will be shot in Mumbai and select locations in Europe. This will mark the next exciting chapter in the Krrish saga, which first captivated audiences with Koi… Mil Gaya.

Krrish 3 was released globally on November 1, 2013. Produced on a budget of ₹95 crore (approximately ₹161 crore or US$19 million in 2023), the film went on to gross ₹393.37 crore (about ₹669 crore or US$78 million in 2023) worldwide. The movie received generally positive reviews from critics.

While Rakesh Roshan, who directed the earlier Krrish films, has announced that he won’t be returning as director, he will remain involved as a producer. Fans are eagerly awaiting an official announcement on the project.
Meanwhile, War 2, which is part of YRF’s Spy Universe, will see Hrithik reprise his role as Kabir. The film will also feature Kiara Advani and Jr. NTR, with a release slated for 2025. Hrithik is expected to make a special appearance in the upcoming Alpha, another film in the YRF Spy Universe.
