Tripti Dimri, a model-turned-actress, made a promising debut in Hindi Cinema with the comedy film Poster Boys (2017). The film was directed by Shreyas Talpade. Before her Bollywood debut, she had modelled in ads for a number of reputed brands including Good Earth and Santoor.
In 2018, Tripti made her sophomore outing in Bollywood with the romantic drama Laila Majnu, where she essayed one of the titular roles alongside Avinash Tiwary.
